Regis Prograis’ Conditioning Coach Demands His “F**King Cut” While Making Bold Claim for Devin Haney Fight Numbers

Evins Tobler did not get paid enough. At least, that’s what the conditioning coach is claiming. It’s been exactly ten days since Devin Haney took Regis Prograis to boxing school. ‘The Dream’ wiped Regis’ dream of fighting in another pay-per-view event through a sublime performance. If that wasn’t enough, Regis became a record holder for the most embarrassing record. Despite that, his trainer made his demand known not so long ago.

After the dust cleared, the Compubox numbers showed Regis Prograis landed the least amount of punches in the history of boxing, featuring twelve three-minute rounds. To add insult to injury, it broke Edwin De Los Santos’ lowest record in a prior fight against Shakur Stevenson. However, those numbers did not phase Tobler because he was focused on the numbers the Haney vs. Prograis fight generated. 

Evins Tobler blames boxing professionals for not getting his cut

Turning to X (formerly Twitter), Regis’ conditioning trainer claimed social media is buzzing with talks of low pay-per-view numbers for the 9th December fight. However, according to Tobler, that’s far from the truth, as he boldly claimed the venue was packed with people during the fight. He goes on to question ‘boxing professionals’ about the numbers while demanding his cut.

“Social media is talking about low numbers in pay-per-view sales. Trust me that place was f***ing packed top to bottom. Where are the numbers boxings professionals ????? What the f**k pay up pay up. I want my cut s**t, why not I had fun I want my f***ing cut,” wrote Tobler. While Regis’ conditioning coach hurls obscenities to demand his money, Top Rank’s CEO had a different idea for the low numbers. 

Bob Arum blames Christmas for low numbers from Devin Haney vs. Regis Prograis

Despite selling out the Chase Center Arena, the fight failed to succeed on the PPV front, per Bob Arum. The legendary boxing promoter appeared in an interview with Fight Hub TV, claiming Christmas is to blame. He said, “Now, what are people concerned about in December? Saving up their money so they could spend it on Christmas presents.”

He further added that Regis vs. Haney isn’t the biggest draw, so people can’t bring themselves to spend money on expensive pay-per-view subscriptions. “The pay-per-view is so expensive now…[people] don’t want to put it into buying a fight, particularly a fight like Haney-Regis Prograis, which is not a huge,” said Arum.

Barely more than a week after Regis’ dismantling in the ring by Haney, the former’s conditioning coach hurls obscenities to demand his cut of the profits. Meanwhile, Bob Arum blames the timing of the fight for not producing great pay-per-view numbers.
