If you follow Claressa Shields on X, you will know that she does not shy away from calling out her enemies. One of her foes happens to be none other than Cris Cyborg. The two have been long speculated to meet each other in an MMA bout. However, their long-speculated bout is yet to become a reality, but that has not stopped them from making hostile remarks at each other for the better part of a year.

In a recent turn of events, Cyborg appears to have blocked Shields on her X account, and the boxing champion in a post made it evident to everyone. This led to a series of distinct reactions. So without further ado, let’s jump right into their fiasco and unwrap some intriguing fan reactions.

Claressa Shields took to X and posted a screenshot that showed Cyborg had allegedly blocked her. Posting the screen grab to her X, she wrote, “what happened…Not Cris Cyborg blocked me. shit she started it! Mannnn.”

The fans were quick to jump on and post their thoughts. A fan revealed that Cyborg even blocked her after he reminded her of her defeat.

In the post making the comparison between women’s MMA and Boxing, Shields stated, “Say what you want Women’s MMA is way further than Women’s boxing, but I get to my bag and beat tf outta bishes and make 7 figures now. It’s a 100 ways to say no and 1 way to yes. If you don’t want to box against me, cause you can’t win, just say that.” She asserted that she, unlike most women fighters, make more money and that Cyborg wasn’t taking the fight at her weight class because she was afraid of losing to her.
