“This Man Okay?”: Boxing World Watches in Horror After ‘White Collar’ Boxer Gets Flatlined

The inherent risks and a sense of unpredictability regarding boxing have amused the public for decades. Not to mention, the fans always have a fascination with witnessing a knockout. A knockout is considered the pinnacle moment in the bout but certain knockouts captivate the public and are remembered eternally. Recently, the boxing world witnessed a knockout during a white-collar boxing match. The phenomenon of white-collar boxing is a relatively new one but one might argue it to be just as entertaining. In a nutshell, white-collar boxing involves competitors with no prior experience. However, such bouts can lead to aggressive brawls and deliver spectacular knockouts.

One such instance took place in London during the Boxing Grand Prix White Collar. One of the combatants got himself in an unwanted position; he stood right next to his opponent with his hands down. At this point, all his opponent had to do was land a clean punch. Moreover, not only he landed a clean punch but also a powerful one. Right after the punch landed, the boxer lost consciousness on his feet and was knocked out with his eyes open. The crowd was stunned to witness this and the clip of the same has been circulated in the boxing world.

A brutal knockout takes the world by surprise

The boxer’s knockout has made rounds in boxing after @boxstory_rkm posted the clip of the knockout with the caption, “A KO this weekend from the Boxing Grand Prix White Collar show in London.” Witnessing the same, many fans expressed their concerns over the boxer’s knockout. Here are a few of the fan reactions reflecting upon the same: 

A user named BOXING n BBQ was stunned to witness such a devastating knockout and hoped that the boxer is in good health. He stated, “Yikes! This man ok?”

While, one fan Paul Johnson Tog expressed his dissatisfaction for white collar boxing and stated, “Shocking. White collar” 

Another fan, Yellow Clause described the knockout and stated, “GODDAMN, folded him like freshly dried laundry.”

Meanwhile, one fan Darren 67 does consider it to be entertainment. He stated, “It ain’t funny”
