In the realm of boxing, there are names that transcend time, leaving a huge mark on the sport’s history. Two such luminaries are Canelo Alvarez and Floyd Mayweather Jr. They are widely regarded as two of the greatest boxers of their generation. A user named Jason Adame stated that this fight was an important one for Alvarez. According to him, the Mexican started focusing on his defense after this bout. “This was the best thing to ever happen to Canelo. After this fight, he focused more on his defense.” he wrote.

Another user Mario Licursi claimed that while one fighter was in his prime the other one was not. “One in his prime but not the other” he wrote.

However, according to a user named Eric Fisher, Mayweather was fighting toe to toe with Alvarez. “Casuals talking about Floyd ran this fight. He went toe to toe the entire fight.” he wrote.

Another user named Terintino Benjamin pointed out the size difference between the two fighters. He added that Alvarez was the bigger man in the fight but was still outclassed by Mayweather. “The size difference was so apparent. Alvarez is the bigger man in there. Floyd still beat him , no problem. Easy work ! *floydmayweather” he wrote.

Also, one user stated that while Mayweather was winning, he was hesitant to engage with the Mexican. “Mayweather won fair and square but that said he dances and runs away thats for sure” he wrote.
