Shaquille O’Neal played his college basketball at the prestigious LSU, a college where legends like Pete Maravich & the first NBA MVP, Bob Petit, played. Shaq during his time at LSU cemented his place as one of the legends. The NBA Hall of Famer went to LSU from 1989 to 1992.
As he decided to enter the NBA draft in 1992, he bid adieu to his beloved college. However, Shaq won the SEC Player of the Year twice and also won men’s basketball Player of the Year in his final year in college.
