Unveiling Chaotic Golf Stint With Pau Gasol, HoF Bound Dwyane Wade Shared BTS Snippets Hours Before Getting Immortalized

Two days before his immortalization, Dwyane Wade was with a few fellow basketball legends at a golf club. Chilling his nerves before his Hall of Fame enshrinement, the Miami Heat legend kicked it back with family and a fellow class member. Most fans were not expecting to see the 3-time champion golfing with the Spaniard, Pau Gasol. But such is post-retirement life!

Wade shared some behind-the-scenes snippets hours before his ceremony last weekend. Let’s see what Flash was up to hours before his historic ceremony.

Dwyane Wade: A conglomeration of emotions

Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is a dream for every basketball player. There could be no better farewell gift to honor Dwyane’s 16 years of legendary performances. To ease up his nerves, Wade, along with his father and Pau Gasol, decided to take it out on the golf course. He shared the video of BTS on his Twitter handle and captioned it “Feeling all the feels.”

Notably, Pau and D-Wade were inducted into the Hall of Fame together this weekend.

Dwayne Wade Golfed at Mohegan Sun Golf Club with his Dad and the two-time champion. They were joined by another Los Angeles Lakers legend legend in Spencer Haywood, and Nancy Liberman (the founder of the club).

“We about to go out there and hit the ball in the water and hit the ball in these trees and not be able to find them. We gonna have a great time, so cheers to everybody,” said Wade. Sounds like a chaotic day of golf!

There were fan moments Dwyane added as a sweet gesture. The Flash, signings souvenirs and jerseys, said “I’m feeling all the feels, I’m feeling all the love.” A fan from Australia added, “I’ve been here three times to see you play, I saw you retired and Hall of Fame, congrats man.”

The magical enshrinement of Wade

Dwyane Wade rounded up his retirement in a historical way.  He joined the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, which has only opened its doors to 436 individuals in its 64 years.

He started the weekend in flashy fashion. D-Wade and his posse, including friends, family and children, took a private jet to Connecticut. The plane was bedazzled with Wade’s name and his various brands. Of course, his wine company made the cut!

On the day of the event, Wade looked dapper in a bespoke suit. His idol Allen Iverson honored Dwyane by wearing a special coat etched with Wade and the Number 3. The 25 min emotional speech by Flash and the way he embraced his father was sublime. He had his fans laughing and crying during his big night.

It seems the pre-event golfing ritual paid off!
