Allen Iverson is flying high with the things he is doing in life. However, he doesn’t want to keep it all for himself according to his plans as the VP of Reebok basketball.

Allen Iverson wants trouble
The NBA veteran, during a recent conversation with FN, talked about his work as the VP of Reebok basketball. Iverson is currently working with Dominic Ciambrone who is also called “The Shoe Surgeon”. He was asked about what he would have wanted The Shoe Surgeon to make for him if he had been around in the Iverson era. He said, “Trouble. Trouble in the sense of it mattered me so much.” The 48-year-old sounded disappointed in the lack of thought the new generation has. He said, “Guys nowadays wear a color [of sneakers] that’s not the color of the uniform. To each his own, but that was never me.”

Iverson compared his process to that of Superman and Batman while picking out uniforms. He said, “I’ve never seen Superman not have on red, yellow, blue, you know what I mean? Spider-Man got his color, Batman is black, gold. You understand? To me, that’s what a superhero [wears].” The NBA veteran has been a lifelong fan of Michael Jordan, so it was obvious for him to mention the great man in a conversation about superheroes. He said, “My whole thing was always Mike [Jordan] and the way he put his thing together. That’s how I was taught.”
