Just hot off his opening match with Samoa Joe, fans saw CM Punk finishing his opponent fair and square at AEW’s UK PPV All In. But this did not get the fans behind him. Instead, another fan pointed out an unrelated but parallel booking decision by both of Punk’s wrestling promotions. One decision that makes Punk irritated to this day, and AEW just repeated that.

Could this be a hint at Punk’s punishment for all the drama he brought to the locker room? Also, could this be a domino that could lead Punk to exit another wrestling company?

Fans troll CM Punk for missing this important moment once again at AEW

On Twitter, one fan called out a parallel between WWE and AEW’s booking of Punk. They revealed that even on AEW’s biggest show, the Straight Edge star wasn’t able to be the main event guy. This is the same thing that occurred in WWE, but this time it’s logical as the main event stars, Adam Cole and MJF are the sole and heart of the company right now.

Just like the time in WWE when Punk was sidelined for John Cena and Dwayne Johnson, this time as well, the management moved to other wrestlers over Punk. With All In being AEW’s biggest PPV to date, fans pointed out Punk missing out on the main event on a grand stage. While not being particularly upset about it, the fans think that this coincidence is hilarious.

After the backstage brawl and his suspension, giving him the main event spot never would’ve worked.
