Dwayne Johnson snaps back at critics for fishing in a private pond

In a recent post, Dwayne Johnson shared a picture of him catching a hybrid striper. Not only was the fish more than 17lbs, but Johnson also wrote about the vicious tackle it took to capture this beast. But most people conveniently skipped talking about it as they were more concerned about the fact that Johnson was fishing in a private pond.

The critics in the comments section reiterated that having caught a big fish in your backyard pond isn’t a big achievement. But Johnson had a clear response to this hate.

When another fan defended him, he commented, “I stopped fishing on public lakes years ago because every time I’d come back in to dock I’d have 100 people waiting for me to take pics. So I decided to build properties with lakes and ponds where I can fish privately. Ain’t complaining, I just “adjusted” to reality 🤣🙋🏽‍♂️”

Privacy is a big concern for any celebrity, especially for a widely-known name such as The Rock. In the past, Johnson has found himself stuck in public places. Only a few celebrities, like his co-star Emily Blunt’s husband, John Krasinski, have been in this gym. Being away from the public gives Johnson that extra push to go harder and become the best version of himself.
