In the last three years, WWE superstar Roman Reigns has had a steady rise to the top. The 38-year-old had taken a forced break from wrestling due to his health but came back to the ring in 2020. Since then, he has gone on to capture both the RAW and SmackDown championships and unified them to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. This week, The Tribal Chief celebrated his 1000-day run as a champion, the only such instance for pro-wrestlers in the new millennium.

Despite his mammoth accomplishment, Reigns took to social media to air his grievances about his job. Taking notice, a 51-year-old WWE superstar has lent his support.

Being a champion isn’t an easy task, and it gets even harder if one has to hold on to the position for over 1000 days. Reigns realized that and took to Instagram to share his side of the story. To mark his milestone, the WWE unveiled a new belt for their top heel. Reigns posted a photo of himself with the new mustard-colored belt and captioned it: “It’s lonely at the top.”

His sentiment is likely to be a reflection of the incidents he had to deal with in the recent past. At Night of Champions, Reigns was betrayed by one of his Bloodline members, Jimmy Uso. Tired of Reigns’ public tirade against him, the senior Uso twin snapped and landed two superkicks on Reigns, thus signaling the beginning of the end of the Anoa’i stable.

The gravy has thickened since then, with several twists and turns. For now, Reigns has the support of Solo Sikoa and Wise Man Paul Heyman, while Jimmy and Jey Uso are likely to desert him.

Meanwhile, former WWE United States Champion R-Truth has sent a message to Reigns. “I’ll come keep you company your Tribel chief’ness ☝🏿,” the 51-year-old said. While he hasn’t wrestled since December 2022, after suffering an injury, Reigns might do well for himself by accepting the offer.

Even though he has Sikoa’s support, the Bloodline Enforcer also delivered a stern message to The Tribal Chief before doing his dirty work on the recent episode of SmackDown. But R-Truth’s reactions had fans going nuts.

Fans share their love for R-Truth

Apart from his high-flying in-ring action, R-Truth is a bona fide entertainer. He has gifted the WWE fans some of the most iconic comedic moments, be it entering a woman’s match or using a ladder to grab a briefcase during an entirely different match stipulation.

Now, fans want the WWE to protect the wrestler at all costs while hailing him.

One fan wrote: “We miss you”

“@ronkillings1 needs to be protected at all costs,” said an Instagram user.

Another said, “That would be awesome. An R Truth and Roman becoming friends storyline.”

This Instagram user called him a champion worthy of the 24/7 belt, which he had won in the past: “@ronkillings1 , a true 24-7 type of champion! 😏”

“@ronkillings1 i love you dude😂😂,” a user commented.

Another user said, “@ronkillings1 can always count on you to get people smiling”
