CM Punk is arguably the most talked about wrestling entity in the recent past. From his controversial AEW exit to the monumental WWE comeback, Punk single-handedly dominated the headlines for the past few weeks. Now, he has been riding high with a massive push in the form of securing the Royal Rumble 2024 entry. Punk shifted his attention to another sport as he talked about the legendary hockey player, Paul Bissonnette.
The Canadian sportsman, better known as Biz Nasty, resembled Punk to some extent. He grabbed the limelight with his marvelous performance against the Seattle Kraken mascot at the 2024 Winter Classic. That said, CM Punk is far from impressed with one iconic move that he performed to take out the opponent.

CM Punk took playful shots at Paul Bissonnette for his flawed Elbow drop
The Rock’s People’s Elbow has become quite a trending move among many marquee personalities hailing from different realms. But the only differences that make them stand apart from each other that how seamlessly they perform the signature move. In this regard, Punk kept Biz in quite a lower rank. The 38-year-old launched the popular WWE move on his opponent to ensure victory in the heavyweight title match. During an appearance on Jackie Redmond’s NHL Show, when CM Punk was asked to give his thoughts on Biz Nasty’s elbow drop, the wrestling veteran gave a blatantly honest reply.
”Four out of ten. Just choice of move, I understand safety being paramount and everything like that but you know I would like to see Biz like maybe pick him up like we can go real old school and do Aeroplane spins.” Punk made his stance clear.

It didn’t sit well with Biz Nasty as he immediately fired back with a light warning.
Biz Nasty defended himself in a chilling yet light-hearted response
Given CM Punk has already made it to the Royal Rumble 2024, he’s now eagle-eyed to come out victorious from the Tropicana Field, Florida. But it looks like Biz could get in his way as he threatened to do so in a playful counter-tweet.

Biz said he would put on his man thong, don knee pads, and enter the Royal Rumble stage to throw the Chicago-based native over the top rope if the latter continued with his jibes. He also intimidated Punk saying he should not call him a goon again, otherwise, he would bury him with his (Punk’s) signature move GTS.
Don’t make me put on my man thong & knee pads, enter the Royal Rumble and throw you over the top rope @CMPunk. Watch your mouth about my moves. Call me a goon again and I’ll put you in a GTS. 💪🏼 #WaitWhat #PeoplesElbow https://t.co/N4lVd3uznr
