Appearing in one of the biggest Marvel movies of the year, Batista is at the peak of his career right now. He has absolutely stripped out of the Animal persona from his days back in WWE and became a popular Hollywood star, arguably getting more recognition as an actor than during his WWE days. While he is enjoying his most popular era, there are a few people who will bring up an incident from his past and try and get a response from him.

But the woman who first revealed that incident, has come out to quieten these people as she has made amends with The Animal.

Despite his humble and kind persona in the media today, Batista had an uncomfortable interaction with former WWE star Shelly Martinez. While they had patched things in the past, fans still bring that story up. But Martinez had enough and called out people for their behavior. She clearly mentioned in a tweet that these people annoy her and that she and Batista have made amends.

Shelly Martinez, better known by her ring name, Ariel was a former WWE, ECW, and TNA star. Her character was striking and got everyone hooked, but due to complications, WWE let go of her. But she made a name for herself in TNA by acting as a valet to many popular stars.

But she disclosed in 2017 that her incident with Batista was the reason for being fired from WWE. So, you might be wondering what this incident is between one of the most popular wrestler-turned-actor who has a net worth of $16 million, and a former female WWE star who isn’t relevant in any circles at the moment.

What was the story behind these two former WWE stars?

In 2007, Batista dated former Divas Champion, Melina. But the relationship ended abruptly. Being her friend, Martinez had a conversation with her friend, hearing her side of the story. But in an interview, she revealed that Batista was eavesdropping on their conversation. Martinez confronted him but it only led to a meeting with John Laurinaitis.

A few months later, WWE released Martinez, and she blamed it on Batista. In 2017, she opened up about feeling depressed because of Batista’s face all over the city. She said, “For those of you that know that me and Dave Bautista got in a fight backstage. That’s how I got fired – so it’s been interesting for me to drive around time and I see Dave Bautista’s face everywhere.”

But that wasn’t the case, and they made up some years later. But this wasn’t the only time the former World Heavyweight Champion’s relationship with Melina started troubles in his personal life.
