WWE recently held its annual holiday live event at the Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City. While the crowd was blessed with several premium matches, the match that probably stood out the most was Seth Rollins vs Drew McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre challenged Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship once again, but The Architect was successful in retaining his title. Although McIntyre lost the match, he still ended up achieving a milestone. In fact, he even posted about his latest proud achievement on social media.

Drew McIntyre crosses out a lifetime goal
Drew McIntyre added several photos of himself via a tweet on his official X account. The Scottish wrestler wrote the caption, “Win the Royal Rumble (check). Main Event WrestleMania (check). Become WWE Champion (check). Close out MSG (check). Another one off the bucket list.” McIntyre had added tick mark emojis before all these different milestones in his WWE career.

Apparently, the match between Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins was the main event of the Madison Square Garden event. The MSG Arena is one of the most popular venues in the world where some of the biggest events are held.

Thus, McIntyre’s happiness is definitely understandable despite losing yet another title match against Seth Rollins. Moreover, this is far better than his reaction at the Survivor Series when he had simply stormed off the arena.
In fact, many thought that he was done with the WWE.
The unsavory reaction by McIntyre at the Survivor Series
Drew McIntyre had teamed up with the Judgment Day against Team Cody Rhodes for the Survivor Series WarGames. Despite having better teamwork and cohesiveness, the Scottish wrestler and the purple-heel faction lost. Notably, there was a key moment during the match when McIntyre could have helped his team take the win.

However, Damian Priest potentially foiled his plans by entering the match before him. When the match finally concluded, Drew McIntyre didn’t wait for an official exit and immediately exited the WWE arena. Many linked this with his contract woes with the WWE, and his current status in the company.
