Hollywood icon, Dwayne Johnson has been rumored to be in the running for the next President of the country. Apart from being strong, other reasons make him a potential candidate.

You have to be living under a rock if you don’t know who Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is. The star has left a mark in every sector possible. While he is mostly known for his work at WWE and in various Hollywood projects, he is also known in the sportswear industry, he is a prominent name in the liquor industry thanks to his liquor business, thanks to Teremana Tequila. He also owns XFL, a minor American football league.

Almost everyone loves him. Even if someone is not much into sports, any movie-goer would be able to immediately recognize him. However, it looks like fans of the Black Adam star want him to take up the role of The President. While speaking with Trevor Novah in his podcast, he revealed a number so staggering, that even he was not able to believe it. According to him, back in 2022 “the parties” approached him to run for the role of The President, that is both the Democrats and Republicans had approached Johnson to run for POTUS as their respective candidate.

To back up this offer, they had the results of a survey conducted back in 2021. In the poll that had 30,000 individuals, 46% of them saw him as the next President. Johnson further added that the poll results were not the only data they had. According to said research, the political parties told him that if he ever goes down the road, he would be the real deal. This hints that if he ever announces to run for the role, he will have a lot of support from political allies and his fans.

Dwindling faith in past and current leaders

The last two President of the United States have faced significant criticism during their runs. While Joe Biden is still the current President, entrepreneur Donald Trump served before him from 2017 to 2021. The current race for President for the 2024 election sees both the former and the current President trying to make it take on another run as President.
