The highly awaited AEW pay-per-view, Forbidden Door 2 is just six weeks away. The company is all set to serve the fans with top-class action and quality entertainment. But it seems like fortune is not on Tony Khan’s side as a top AEW star Eddie Kingston could possibly miss the event.

Fans last saw Eddie Kingston inside the ring in action on March 13, 2023. He was suffering from an injury since last year, which actually came out to be a hernia. And now, the AEW star is undergoing a minor operation.

However, there is a claim that came with this announcement that has put the fans in a dilemma.

The top AEW star is in trouble before the major PPV

In a recent episode of the “Ring of Honor”, the AEW star Eddie Kingston made an announcement that shocked the wrestling fans. Kingston states that he is suffering from a hernia and will undergo surgery for the same on Tuesday this week. 

But on top of that, he also said that he hopes to get back in action within six weeks. This has left fans confused as it is not always easy to come back that early after surgery. 

Just as fans got to know about the situation, they started coming online and expressing their feelings via tweets. Where most of the fans are praying for the AEW star’s speedy recovery, some are also worried about his claim for returning within six weeks.

The PPV is going to be held in Scotiabank Arena, Toronto on June 25, 2023. And even if Kingston returns in July, it would be a little difficult for the creative department to draft an investing storyline for him.
