‘How Grateful I Am to Be Alive and I Will Get to Hold My Baby’: Popular Journalist, Associated With WWE for 10 Years, Survives Cancer as She Prepares for Her Soon to Be Newborn Baby

There’s a popular saying that life is unpredictable. It can cheer you up at one moment and then shock you at another. But that’s what life is. And one who dealt with both of these emotions recently is a popular reporter who is also known for serving as a WWE ambassador for the last 10 years. 

The WWE Universe must have heard the name Maria Menounos, who first appeared in the promotion back in 2009. Since then, she has been a part of WWE in some way or another. Being a fabulous TV presenter, she has also hosted the Hall of Fame ceremonies for the promotion, six years in a row. However, she underwent one of the hardest phases in her personal life. Menounos battled severe diseases while preparing for a newborn to arrive in their life.

It might not be known to anyone what the former ring announcer of WWE went through in the last couple of months. However, after defeating her life-threatening pancreatic cancer, she has now come out more confident and grateful. Through a Twitter thread, she also expressed her emotions while detailing her tough situation.

A part of her Tweet highlighted the multiple situations she was managing one after another. She wrote, “First, dealing with the diabetes diagnosis last summer, second (my other miracle) preparing for my soon to be newborn baby and third, pancreas cancer.”

It must be terrifying to imagine a person going through so much all at once. But being the fighter that she is, the TV presenter and actress, Maria Menounos, conquered her secret battle against Stage 2 pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed in January and underwent successful surgery to remove a 3.9 cm tumor. Now, she is on a mission to encourage others, while looking forward to enjoying her life with the newcomer of her family.

In her career, Menounos has interviewed and welcomed several celebrities. One of which was the Fast and Furious star who was once mistaken for Jackie Chan. However, now it was time for her to welcome a new addition to her family. This summer brought joy to Maria Menounos and her husband, Keven Undergaro, who was gifted with a beautiful baby girl being born via surrogate.

That being said, she also expressed her joy in her recent Tweet. While thanking god, doctors, nurses, family, and friends, she wrote, “how grateful I am to be able alive and well and that I WILL get to hold my baby !”

There’s no doubt that the WWE ambassador has been through a lot, but all of it has only given her immense strength now. And we wish that she now leads a healthy and happy life with her family while cherishing this god’s miracle.
