Monday Night Raw was something special. The recent edition of Monday Night Raw saw a tag team match between the current Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins and AJ Styles against The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest. During a segment, Rollins went out of the ring and put his arm around Rhea Ripley. It fooled her for a moment as she thought it was Dominik, but she was quick enough to notice it and pushed Rollins. The whole incident created a big ruckus. WWE fans were quick to notice the memorable moment Rollins recreated.

It was something Shawn Michaels did during a match when he put his arm around an unsuspecting Melina in 2006. Now days after recreating the incident, Rollins has a message for the current SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Rollins hopes Ripley isn’t offended

After Monday Night Raw, Rollins spoke with The Bump where he shared his thoughts on posing with Rhea Ripley. He said, “You know I saw an opening I had to take it, I dont know what else to tell you it was right there for the picking and it made for the good television a lot of fun, I hope Rhea wasn’t too offended I hope dom dom wasn’t too offended. I hope my own protege Murphy wasn’t too offended. I don’t know I am just p*****g everyone off I guess.”

He apologized to the wrestlers, saying he hopes it did not offend them. Rollins mockingly laughed and called AEW star Buddy Matthews, his protégé. While Rollins kept it casual, fans went on to share their opinions on Rollins’ comments.

Buddy Matthews, known as Buddy Murphy in WWE, has been in a relationship with Ripley for quite some time now.

Ripley and Murphy work in different companies. Despite being professionally separated, both of them have often displayed support and love for each other on social media. In his statement, Rollins said he hopes that Buddy wasn’t offended, but there is no response from Murphy to his comment or actions on RAW

Matthews is currently a member of the House of Black in AEW, and currently, he reigns as AEW Trios Champion. It would be really interesting to watch the next move on this from Ripley and Matthews’ take on the whole matter.
