“I Think There Is a Comparison” – John Cena Names WWE Legend With “a Tremendous Lust for Life” as the Best Drinking Partner

John Cena has been a part of WWE for two decades and more. Surely, over the course of all these years, he must have built some of his best memories in the Stamford-based promotion. Sharing a few of those moments with his fans, the 16-time World Champion recently revealed who he had the most fun with while chugging a few glasses of alcohol. Let’s see who did he deem as his favorite drinking partner in all of WWE.

Ric Flair is Cena’s favorite drinking buddy

The Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect appeared on Whiskey Ginger with Andrew Santino a few days ago. During the interview, the host asked Mr. P whom he enjoyed the most while sharing drinks. At first, The Champ said that he had fun with every superstar while drinking. However, when the host asked him to name one person in particular, then he chose Ric Flair. He confessed to having a great time with Flair every time the two sat down together to have a drink. He said, ” I don’t think there is a comparison to Ric Flair.

The Prototype also mentioned why he chose Naitch as his favorite drinking buddy. The wrestling veteran feels that the positive and energetic vibes of Flair, are the reason why he is so attracted to him. In addition, he also mentioned that the people who carry lots of positive vibes with them have always fascinated him. “I just gravitated toward people who were having a good time,” elucidated The Chain Gang Soldier.

The Nature Boy and Cena have many more things in common than just having a positive attitude in life. Both superstars are 16-time World Champions. However, The Champ is looking to break another record made by Flair. This time it will be for the United States Championship.

Naitch is a six-time WCW United States Champion whereas The Doctor of Thuganomics has won the US title 5 times. If Cena wins at WrestleMania 39, then he ties with Flair and becomes a 6-time US Champion.

Flair’s wisdom is a source of admiration for John Cena

Talking about his past encounters in WWE, The Cenation Leader mentioned how he and his co-workers used to go out to drink and party every night after calling it a day at work. The stars used to go to some place to relax and gather some wisdom from their peers.

He named Slick Ric as one of the senior stars who have much wisdom to offer to the younger generation of professional wrestlers. “These guys are not only there because they want to socialize. And share they have all this f**king wisdom. Ric [Flair] especially,” Cena said.
