“I’ll Just Be Straight Up”: WWE Legend Details the Reason Why He is Not a John Cena Fan

John Cena is now a full-time actor in Hollywood and is busy on several movie projects at once. But irrespective of the same he keeps a tab on what is happening in the world of WWE. The Cenation Leader has made his name in the Stamford-based company and he has a mass following. However, a WWE legend still doesn’t seem to be a fan of the 16-time world champion even after all these years.

The WWE Hall of Famer made it clear he is not a Cena fan while addressing the Peacemaker star’s WWE return in the future. Moreover, he also talked about a possible Cena and LA Knight feud in WWE.

WWE Legend is not a fan of John Cena!

For nearly 15 out of his 20-year WWE career, John Cena was the top babyface of the company. After Hulkamania in the 80s, Cenation became a thing for over a decade, but WWE legend Theodore Long isn’t a fan of the same.

Recently, the former SmackDown General Manager was asked about Cena posting LA Knight’s picture on his Instagram. However, while addressing the same on the Road Trip AFTER HOURS podcast, Long shared he isn’t a Cena fan.

The 75-year-old legend said, “Well, I don’t know, man. You know what I mean? I’ll just be straight up with you. I’m not a John Cena fan, okay, so I don’t really know. LA Knight, I like this kid, man, and I think it’s a great opportunity for him to work with someone like John Cena. But I mean, you know, I don’t know if Cena is serious about coming back to wrestling.”

He added, “I just don’t get none of it and I guess it’s really not my business anyway, so whatever happens, you know, it shouldn’t concern me anyway, but if that’s what happens, you know, we’ll just wait and see.”

The 2017 class WWE Hall of Famer respects the accolades of ‘The Franchise Player’ in WWE. Hence, even though claiming not to be a Cena fan, Long stated a match with the 46-year-old star will be a huge thing got LA Knight.

LA Knight makes it to Cena’s Instagram!

WWE Universe and the Hollywood world are aware of John Cena’s Instagram account. The WWE legend posts pictures without captions, keeping the photos as open-ended questions for his fans. 

Similarly, a few days back Cena shared LA Knight’s picture on his Instagram. This quickly riled up the possibility of them working together in the future in WWE. Probably, that not might be the case as the 16-time world champion posts the latest and viral news on his Instagram feed.

Nevertheless, it’s still a question mark whether Cena and Knight will have a feud in WWE or not. But a 20-year WWE veteran posting Knight’s picture on his social media is surely a huge boost for his career ahead of Money in the Bank PLE.
