“I’m a Bada** F***ing Cowboy”: Brock Lesnar Delivered an Intense Message To Roman Reigns Behind The Scenes During SummerSlam 2022

The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns was the most epic rivalry in the past decade of WWE. It started with WrestleMania 31 and ended with SummerSlam 2022. The final chapter of their clash was so brutal that ‘The Beast’ himself sent a final message to Reigns before entering the ring.

One episode of the documentary ‘WWE Rivals’ was all about the rivalry between ‘The Beast’ and ‘The Tribal Chief’. Their rivalry continued for 7 years and both faced each other nine times in total. 

Their most popular clash was at SummerSlam 2022 when they both faced each other in a ‘last-man-standing’ match. One thing that made this encounter so special was that the feud was not just restricted to the squared circle, there was a brutal war of words as well.

And Brock Lesnar, who rather speaks with his actions than words sent a clear message to Roman Reigns before their clash that time. Lesnar stated that he’d approach Roman Reigns like he approaches anything athletic in his life. Calling himself a fighter, ‘The Beast’ also mentioned that his sole goal is to win.

In the backstage interview, Lesnar said, “Tonight I am approaching this like anything I approach anything athletic in my life. I am coming out to win tonight. I am a fighter, a performer, and a bada**,  f***ing cowboy.”

Not just outside the ring, the SummerSlam feud was also brutal inside the ropes, where Brock Lesnar did something unexpected that shocked the WWE Universe. Even WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart admitted that Lesnar was so expected in that match.
