“It’s Pointing a Finger”: 20X Champion Unleashed a Verbal Scathing on Bryan Danielson for Disparaging WWE’s Creative Team

The Miz has always been one of the most prolific speakers in WWE. The superstar never shies away from speaking his mind both inside and outside the ring. While sometimes it might come across as arrogant, he nevertheless believes in saying things bluntly. 

Now in an interview, the Miz has once again passionately shed his thoughts on his most bitter rival from the past, Bryan Danielson.

What did The Miz say about Bryan Danielson?

The Miz recently went off on Bryan Danielson. aka, Daniel Bryan, for blaming the creatives for not being able to tell a story for a long period.

Defending the WWE creatives, The Miz said: If WWE creative comes to me and goes, here’s what we’re doing today, my mentality would be how can I make this the greatest thing possible? Like that’s our talent! Some of the stuff is absolutely incredible and I think our creative does an amazing job and works very hard, tirelessly to make 5 hours of tv each and every week.

Taking a dig at Bryan, he concluded by saying: How can he sit there and say like well… you know the reason why I’m not doing so well is because they are doing it and they don’t let me do it. It’s pointing a finger. I don’t ever point a finger. I always blame myself.

It’s no secret that the A-lister has always been a WWE loyalist and a great wrestler and talker. Hence the reason he’s been an important part of the brand for the last 17 years. But what’s more interesting is that this isn’t the first time he has launched a verbal scathing on Daniel Bryan.

In a similar incident, on an episode of Talking Smack Promo in 2016, the Miz went off on Bryan. In a conversation that included both wrestlers, the American dragon called the A-lister a coward for not defending his Intercontinental title. 

The Miz who’s always admired the Intercontinental belt expressed his fury about not being booked properly on SmackDown. He also lamented the title not getting its prestige. A bottled-up champion got triggered by Bryan’s choice of words and let his frustrations out. 

While the irony is that in the outburst, the former 2-time WWE champion told Bryan to come out of retirement or quit WWE and go back to the independent circuit.

And 7 years later, when Bryan has come out of retirement, quit WWE and went to AEW due to creative differences. The Miz, on the other hand, continues to solidify his stay in the business that he loves the most, WWE.
