Latest Rumors Suggest Cody Rhodes as the Next Poster Boy for WWE After Survivor Series 2023

We are only around two months away from stepping into another year. With a new year comes new surprises and gifts for the WWE Universe. One of the things that the WWE fans get most excited about towards the end of the year is the new edition of the WWE 2k Games.

New features, new upgrades… titillate the brains of wrestling and gaming aficionados as well and they patiently wait for WWE to drop the next edition of the 2k series. In a matter of a few months, WWE will release the 2K24 version of the video game, which might feature Cody Rhodes on the cover.

Good news for Cody Rhodes’ fans

The rumor mill has recently churned out an interesting piece of news that is going to excite the WWE Universe, especially all Rhodes’ fans. According to the ongoing social media rumors, the poster boy for the 2023 Survivor Series may get featured on the cover of WWE 2k24 next year.

‘The American Nightmare’ has been a main event star since his return at Royal Rumble earlier this year in January. He is the biggest babyface in WWE right now and is one of the top names in the promotion. Given his status in the promotion, there are high chances of him landing on the cover of the upcoming edition of the 2k series.

Still, there is no confirmation of this news, only rumors on the internet. But it would be lovely to see him join the ranks of John Cena, Dwayne Johnson, Seth Rollins, and more, who have already been featured on the 2k series covers in the past.

Being featured on the cover of 2k games is an honor in itself. This year the honor was bestowed upon Cena, as a celebration of his 20 years in the Stamford-based promotion. In addition, he was the central figure in the game. Every year, WWE strives to give its fans more and adds unique features to the game series.

WWE didn’t disappoint this year as well. The 2k23 video game, launched in March 2023, was introduced with a new match type, which was WarGames. Fans can choose to play either 3v3 or 4v4 matches. In addition, WWE brought OVW (Ohio Valley Wrestling) characters for the first time in the game.
