In the interview, he revealed how he ended up sharing a memorable yet embarrassing moment between the two greats of the sport. Hogan later felt that seizing the moment could have helped save his first marriage.

Hogan hilariously recalls the moment and details one aspect of the incident. He said, “He had the more expensive gifts. I didn’t want to give the car back. He had all the expensive stuff in his trunk, I had toys in mine. I thought the presents might save my first marriage, but I had to give the car back.”

Hogan was referring to his surprising meet-up with Gretzky after Christmas shopping. While Gretzky had expensive stuff in his car, Hogan hilariously stated that he wanted to gift them to his first wife, Linda Marie Claridge.
