The former advocate of Brock Lesnar, made some massive statements while talking about Roman Reigns’ title run. He claimed no current and former WWE superstar has done what ‘The Head of the Table’ has achieved in the past three years. McAfee asked him Reigns’ current run is better than the likes of Stone Cold, The Rock, and John Cena.

Heyman replied, “Steve Austin didn’t hold the title for a 1000 days, John Cena didn’t hold the title for a 1000 days, The Rock didn’t hold the title for a 1000 days. In this era and with this much pressure, with this level of competition and with a murderous row of heavyweights have come after him. How many title defenses against Brock Lesnar?”

He added, “Defeating John Cena, stacking Edge and Daniel Bryan on top of each other in the main event of WrestleMania. Getting by, just getting by Cody Rhodes. Look at the roster that has been defeated by Roman Reigns. It’s an all-time great legendary roster.”

Since returning in 2020 and turning heel, Reigns has changed his fortunes in WWE. Last month he achieved a feat nobody did in the modern era. He came the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for 1000+ days and counting.

Reigns is the first WWE superstar to hold WWE Championship for 1000 days since the 80s!

Being a world champion for 1000 days in once in a lifetime thing. Reigns overcame all odds that he faced for several years in WWE and achieved this feat. However, let’s shed light on the WWE superstars who have achieved this feat already.

While it is difficult to have one 1000-day WWE title reign, Bruno Sammartino had two WWE Championship reigns that lasted over 1000 days to his name in the 60s and 70s. Apart from him, stars like Pedro Morales (early 70s), Bob Backlund (late 70s and early 80s), and Hulk Hogan (1984 to 1988) have achieved this feat.
