The go-home episode of Monday Night RAW ahead of Survivor Series 2023 was exactly what fans wanted. The show was action-packed, with quite a few twists and turns. Some great storylines were building up till the PLE, and one big announcement was made. As fans have been speculating about Randy Orton‘s return at Survivor Series, Cody Rhodes confirmed it. Despite the fans loving the breaking news, one WWE star was not too happy with the last announcement before the show ended.

Jey Uso was not happy with the Randy Orton announcement

The main event for this episode of Monday Night RAW saw Jey Uso face off against Drew McIntyre in an advantage match. The winner of this match would ensure his team had the upper hand during the WarGames match at Survivor Series. While The Judgment Day allowed McIntyre to represent them, Jey wanted to represent his team in the match.

The feud between Jey and McIntyre started last week when McIntyre turned heel. While Jey and Cody Rhodes had the upper hand against Finn Balor and Priest for the WWE Tag Team titles match, McIntyre ensured JD retained the gold. Hitting Jey with a Claymore, McIntyre turned heel and sealed it by shaking Rhea Ripley’s hand.

This episode of RAW saw McIntyre insert himself into Judgment Day’s team as the fifth member of WarGames. This meant that Rhodes and Co. would also require a fifth member. After the main event, Rhodes announced who that person would be. It was none other than the Apex Predator, Randy Orton. However, Jey’s reaction spoke volumes upon hearing it.

On the May 20, 2022, episode of SmackDown, RK-Bros faced off against The Usos. The match was a Tag Team Unification match, which saw The Bloodline members walk out victorious. However, Orton was injured badly during the match. After sustaining a legitimate back injury, Orton has not been seen for almost 18 months. This realization could be the reason for Jey’s unhappy reaction.

Orton’s return could be bad for Jey Uso

Despite leaving The Bloodline and SmackDown behind and turning over a new leaf, Jey is still responsible for Orton’s 18 months’ absence. This could play a major role during the WarGames match. Jey has worked hard to win the trust of his WarGames teammates. However, he’d meet Orton for the first time after 18 months at Survivor Series.

Since the confirmation, fans have speculated there could be distrust between the two. This could lead to some tension in the team and maybe also an RKO on Jey to even the score.
