Bayley is one of the four horsewomen of WWE but hasn’t received enough highlights for her work. WWE has not treated the female wrestler like other top stars in the division, despite her dedication to her career. While Bayley doesn’t usually voice out her feelings on subjects like these, recently, she went all in, expressing her emotions.

After defeating the majority of the women’s WWE roster at Royal Rumble 2024, Bayley sat down for a live interview on WWE’s The Bump. The former Damage CTRL leader also shed light on her getting omitted from an event poster.

The past weekend, we saw Bayley win the women’s Royal Rumble match for this year. This granted her access to choose a high-profile opponent for her WrestleMania 40 match. Since she was one of the few stars confirmed to be in Philadelphia this year, one would expect her to be on the poster for the upcoming PLE. On the contrary, Bayley was nowhere on the released poster.

This was confusing because of the fact that she was confirmed to be at the event. So, when she arrived on The Bump a few days after her Royal Rumble victory, she made sure to talk about this.

At first, Bayley expressed her resentment by saying, “They just posted a WrestleMania banner and I’m not on it. They put freaking Bianca (Belair) on it, do you know who eliminated Bianca? Bayley! I set a d**n record.” Then, the wrestler went on to say, “So if they don’t want to put me on a poster until I make it into the freaking Hall of Fame, then fine. I’ll wait for it. Because I don’t need them, I don’t need the sheep.

The Huggable One is fixated on making it on the poster. In 2023, something similar happened to her, resulting in Bayley taking shots at a male co-star.

Since this interview took place on January 31st, two days before SmackDown 02/02, Bayley was still hopeful that she would continue staying with her precious Damage CTRL. Little did she know that her heel friends would betray her soon.

On the last SmackDown episode, we saw the heel faction talking behind their leader’s back. However, in an interesting turn of events, Bayley caught them red-handed. Understandably, the former Women’s Champion was infuriated. While Rhea Ripley was also present there to provoke her, Bayley didn’t take the bait.

As a result of the turmoil, we saw Bayley finally announce her opponent for WrestleMania 40 and it was not Mami. Instead, the former leader chose to face Iyo Sky in the upcoming PLE.
