The curious case of Bray Wyatt’s continued absence from WWE programming has shocked many quarters. He was supposed to take on ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley in a match at WrestleMania 39. And with the marquee event just a week away the fans are yet to find out whether the scheduled match will take place.
The ‘Eater of The Worlds’ has not been seen on TV since his cryptic ‘Muscle Man Dance’ vignette which appeared on the February 26th edition of RAW. A recent disappointing update on his WrestleMania 39 prospects did not seem to bother the fans much. But a recent click of Wyatt has raised further questions over what is the actual reason behind his absence.

Fans react to the glimpse of Bray Wyatt
Social media users were quick to notice this image. They gave the verdict that Wyatt looked absolutely healthy in the image contrary to the reports that he was dealing with a physical illness. They took to social media in huge numbers to accuse WWE of lying.

It doesn’t look like he has any physical issues. He obviously not sick.

And not injured. 🤷🏼♀️

OK I don’t get it Bray Wyatt looks healthy in that picture so then what is the deal that he can’t work wrestlemania is it because of creative differences there has to be an explanation as to why he can’t work wrestlemania

While nothing makes me happy to know that Wyatt is doing great, let's not forget that a smile can hide a lot of things.

Vinnie Mac is never far from the conversation.
Well yeah he doesn't have to deal with Vince's creative for WrestleMania anymore.

With the WWE also keeping its cards close to its chest it’s hard to deduce the actual truth. It is only bound to raise more speculations among wrestling fanatics. There was quite the hype around Wyatt’s return to the Stamford-based promotion last year but that has seemed to fizzle out slowly.
Wyatt’s story arc since his return has been underwhelming
‘The New Face of Fear’ was released from the wrestling juggernaut in 2021 under the Vince McMahon regime. There was a sense of euphoria in the air when he returned to the WWE with Triple H at the helm. However, his return has not delivered at so many levels and has fallen flat.

What is annoying for most of the audience is that after months of buildup, the only ring appearance by Wyatt has been in the ‘Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match’ against LA White at the Royal Rumble 2023. There have been growing concerns regarding the former Universal Champion’s status with the WWE. Until there’s an official word from the company about it, the fans are set to remain uninformed.
The recent image of Bray Wyatt has undoubtedly left many with the opinion that he is fine. That brings into question what may be the real reason behind his absence from TV. Both parties are tight-lipped about the matter as WWE Universe waits with bated breath for a definitive answer.
