One of the most universal feelings in the world is grief. Grief over losing someone is exceptionally difficult to get over. While it takes a long to cope with the situation, people come out stronger on the other side. Losing someone could also push people to hide in their safe spaces and take a long time to come out. But doing it helps in the end. Just like WWE legend Jim Ross is experiencing right now.
One of the most recognizable and influential speakers in the wrestling commentator table, JR, as many know him, tweeted about a grievous anniversary. In 2017, his wife, Jan Grillette, met with an accident and tragically died on the spot. It was a difficult time for Ross, but now he is reaching out and the sports world has nothing but love for him.

Jim Ross tweets about his wife’s sixth death anniversary
Earlier today, the legendary commentator, Jim Ross, known for lending his voice to some of the most iconic WWE moments, posted a tweet about the sixth anniversary of his deceased wife. Jan Grillette met with an accident on a Monday night in 2017 near their home in Oklahoma. Riding a Vespa without a helmet, she was hit by a teenager driving a car.

At the age of 55, JR’s wife was admitted to the hospital where the doctors tried to relieve the swelling in her brain. She had suffered multiple fractures and went into a medically induced coma and passed after some time.

Now after six years, Ross tweeted about his loss, and the community came together once again to console the legend.
The sports entertainment industry comes in unison to provide support to Jim Ross
Being married from 1993 to 2017, the bond between them must have been strong. In his autobiography, Ric Flair wrote that Jan Grillette was a flight attended and the 16-time world champion paired her with Ross all those years ago.
So, it is unsurprising that legends from the wrestling world, the top stars of today from WWE and AEW, everyone came together to console Ross.

This is not the first time that the wrestling community has come together for wrestling legends before. Just a few months ago, Kevin Nash also reached out to the wrestling community for emotional support after the premature death of his son.
