“Stop Disrespecting”: Bayley’s Snub From WrestleMania 40 Poster Draws Ire of Fans

The year 2024 is about to enter its third month and WWE has already wrapped up two of its PLEs on the main roster. We are now headed up to WrestleMania, which will take place on April 6th and 7th in Philadelphia. While the promotion has been promoting its biggest PLE of the year for quite some time now, it might be its sole focus for a few weeks.

Amidst all this, a few hours ago, the promotion uploaded another poster for WrestleMania 40. Instead of being hyped about it, several fans started to attack WWE. This happened because the Stamford-based company snubbed Bayley.

Bayley was ripped off from her ‘poster privilege’ again

It is no secret among the fanbase that Bayley is counted as one of the four horsewomen of wrestling in WWE. However, the former Damage CTRL leader doesn’t get to be on PLE posters often despite her popularity among fans and her talent. In 2023, Bayley called out WWE for not giving her a spot on a PLE poster. This year, fans observed a similar situation.

Although ‘The Huggable One’ was crowned the women’s Royal Rumble winner for 2024, the promotion didn’t put her on the WrestleMania 40 poster. Even her WrestleMania rival for this year, Iyo Sky, is on the poster, but not Bayley. To make matters worse, WWE gave Bianca Belair a spot on the poster, who, according to fans, didn’t achieve as much as Bayley this year.

This built up resentment among fans that they had to let out in the comment section of the original post.

Fans side with Bayley to be put on the poster

The power that wrestling fans have in their hands shouldn’t be overlooked, especially after WWE had to change its main event for WrestleMania 40 because of fan outrage. And now, it has happened again, but only because of a poster that WWE posted on its official ‘X’ account.

A fan account on Twitter directly called out WWE for not putting Bayley on the poster.

“The EST of WWE” was also dragged into the comment to make a point.

Somebody asked where the RR winner was while posting a Bayley GIF below their text.

This poster has made people have second thoughts about why WWE crowned Bayley as the RR winner this year if they didn’t want to give her a place on the poster.

Yet another fan who was offended that Belair took Bayley’s spot.

Finally, another viewer demands the same thing from the promotion.
