Currently, the most promising name in the WWE world is perhaps LA Knight. Following a huge splash after his NXT debut, back in 2021, Knight went on to proceed to the top of the fan-favorite list. In recent months, fans have shown greater support for the former Eli Drake, thanks to his impressive promo skills.

Days after fans backed him up in the face of an unexpected loss in the Money in The Bank, The WWE sensation continues to rise to the headlines. Recently, an old photo of him with the late legendary manager, Paul Bearer, left WWE Universe in utter disbelief.

LA Knight shared an unforgettable bond with late manager Paul Bearer

Before tying himself with an illuminated WWE career, Knight spent a considerable amount of time in his career wrestling in the independent circuit. During that time, he came across some legendary veterans of the business. One of them was The Undertaker’s former manager, Paul Bearer. He had the privilege of working under Bearer’s supervision for quite some time prior to his debut in TNA wrestling as Eli Drake.

The late veteran helped many high-voltage superstars, including Kane and Mankind, to hone their craft. Paul Bearer also handsomely contributed to The Undertaker’s decorative run and added volume to the mystical aura of his fan-favorite gimmick. But his association with another starlet of the company, LA Knight, was not something many have known. However, they spent some unforgettable moments together that are still afresh in Knight’s memory.

His tragic death in 2013  came as a massive loss to the entire wrestling industry. Looking back to his life-changing invaluable insights, the 40-year-old once noted how great he was as a manager. He was always one call, or message away from the superstars whom he managed. Knight also weighed in on their close bond and showed eternal gratitude to have him as a part of his journey.

Now, an old photo of them together during a televised show, perhaps one of Bearer’s last one, resurfaced on the internet, triggering mixed reactions and emotions from netizens.

Comments have been piled up, both justifying the bizarre characteristics of the photo and the legacy of those involved.

Fans react to Paul Bearer’s surreal photo with LA Knight

Some fans had a hard time believing the photo was even real. Calculating the timeline, they couldn’t believe it was Knight posing beside Paul, as he was supposed to be very young at that time.

Seeing the exceptionally weird expression of the legendary manager of The Undertaker, some deemed it as photoshopped.

However, one user came to others’ help, spitting some facts. Paul Bearer and Knight had his last televised show in California, during Championship Wrestling in Hollywood. It was just months ahead of Bearer’s devastating heart failure. Knight previously revealed how cool their interaction was during the show and how Paul kept doing him favors every time he needed some help. The photo carries a small testament to that good time.

Some fans blatantly confessed that they recently came to know about Bearer and Knight working together.

Another one backed it up, saying LA Knight was the last superstar that Paul managed.
