WWE legends and retired veterans often come under scrutiny for their bold opinions. While some choose to ignore it, others give it back in their own way by dissing their hot takes. Similarly, when a popular legend from the 90s passes stern remarks on controversial and outspoken athletes like CM Punk, it’s bound to generate a powerful response among fans.
But in a major case of backtracking, WWE legend Kevin Nash has now changed his stance on Punk and flipped his hatred towards him, creating a strong buzz on social media for his current view on Punk.

Kevin Nash takes a U-turn on his stance on CM Punk
The best in the world has been under the line of fire by legends and the greats ever since his departure from AEW.

With his now infamous scuffle with Jack Perry at the AEW All Out show in Wembley, Kevin Nash recently made some harsh comments about the superstar.
The 64-year-old legend chided Punk for having a big attitude and placed him next to the legendary late superstar, the Ultimate Warrior, as being a difficult wrestler to work with. However, in a surprising tale of events, Nash has now backtracked on his criticism of Punk.
The former nWo star quoted: “Yeah I got no heat with this guy”. He also admitted how his comments previously helped his podcast, Kliq This, to generate massive numbers.
You can watch the segment posted by WrestleOps below:
Kevin Nash admits that he has no heat with CM Punk and is doing it for hits/numbers.
“Yeah I got no heat with this guy — After last week the fucking numbers.”

This is definitely strange for the legend to admit this on the podcast since he has dissed Punk several times in the past for his behavior and conduct.
While it’s unsure to make out about his intention of milking numbers and views, it has certainly created a strong debate among fans on social media.
“He’s honest” Fans express their mixed sentiments about Nash’s stance on social media
Not just Punk, but recently the iconic figure dissed LA Knight as well by calling him a Dwayne Johnson rip-off. Unfortunately for him, the fan outrage was so huge that he had to publicly apologize for the same. However, the reception is mixed this time around.
One fan didn’t appreciate him, as their sentiment conveyed that everything Nash does is purely for numbers based on his statement about Punk.
So basically don’t listen to anything he says cos he’s just talking shite for “numbers”

But contrary to that, one fan gave him his props by acknowledging that the star at least was honest enough to admit it.
At least he’s honest, I admire it

This fan highlighted how the retired wrestler is in the late phase of his career, and knows how to mint money and get views on social media.
Big Kev is in the kliqbait phase of his career, and he knows how to book the territory. 😂

This fan found him switching stances about the Straight Edge superstar weird, a common sentiment for most fans considering their gripe in the past.
Of course he is… he’s so weird man.

Interestingly, this comment highlighted how smart he was as this fan spoke about Nash’s online feud with LA Knight. The comment stems from how Knight dissed Nash last week on SmackDown after indirectly calling him a moron in a segment. Nash, being a smart operator, knows how to churn out views from this.
Of course he was! Nash is a REALLY smart guy. Him, LA Knight, & HHH probably had a good laugh together after Smackdown on Friday. 😂
