Seth Rollins‘ wrestling run was recently met with a surprising hurdle. The World Heavyweight Champion is currently suffering from a torn MCL. Despite his successful title defense against Jinder Mahal, Rollins’ career seems to be heading toward a brief halt. The wrestler hasn’t yet addressed his injury publicly in WWE, and given his position as a titleholder, we will see him appear at the coming Monday Night Raw.
In such a situation, there are a few instances that can play out based on whatever road the Stamford-based company is thinking of taking with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins may not vacate his title that easily
The immediate response that comes to our mind when we think of an injured title-holder is that the title will either be vacated, or it may be replaced by an interim championship since the champion in question can’t perform for a given period. However, things may take a turn this time around with Seth Rollins.

First and foremost, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins may come out in the arena and claim that he will fight for his title despite the injury, much like how Cody Rhodes when he faced the former heel in their Hell in a Cell match.
Secondly, we may have the champion walk into the ring announce his final return date, and share details about his injury. Following this, Rollins could also accept the challenge in advance of the Royal Rumble winner of 2024.
Lastly, a fraction of the possibility could be that Seth Rollins announces vacating his beloved title and honoring whoever is worthy enough to win it at the coming PLE.

With all three scenarios in mind, one question still lingers. The prominent Seth Rollins vs CM Punk rumors and speculations are also equally in as much danger as the championship title itself.
