The first official night of WrestleMania 39 saw NFL punter and popular sports media personality Pat McAfee going face to face with The Miz. The event took a dramatic turn when Kittle made his way to the ring and disbursed a clothesline when The Miz was just about to leave. It ultimately led to the win of McAfee defeating the Miz at the show of the shows.
During a recent episode of his The Pat McAfee show, the former football punter recalled Kittle’s contribution to his win. McAfee noted, ‘Miz is going to leave as soon as I saw George showcase that tank top I knew there was a chance George might do something special. I grabbed that rep I go excuse me. I think I ripped my d*** and I put it in my knee. You know, like I was just trying to distract him as much as possible. George laid him hot. What a larriot, what a clothesline, what a celebration. I think if you look at the shoulder bump, I think I got him a little bit. I think my shoulder would probably be a little higher than his shoulder; it felt like there was little powers all jacked up but George kittle was fantastic.’
Despite being the first-ever physical WWE television appearance for Kittle, it really pushed everyone to take notice of his wrestling instinct.

Kittle has been an avid WWE fan. He often has been spotted in various wrestling shows. Kittle was also there at last year’s WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas. He also rose to headlines by making the ‘Cero miedo’ hand gesture of popular AEW star Panta el Zero Miedo. But WrestleMania 39 surpassed all his past connections with wrestling, as it is the first time when the wrestling universe recognized his in-ring potential.
So, it’s not very wrong for fans to expect the 29-year-old star to have his first full-fledged professional wrestling match the soonest.
