Nightcap Show recently posted a clip on their Twitter account where the host converses with Sharpe about watching wrestling growing up. Sharpe revealed how much of a fanboy he had been for the sport, naming all the stars he grew up watching.

Impressed by Sharpe’s respect for the history of the pro wrestling industry in America, Triple H offered the NFL legend a small yet significant gift. This is a smart business tactic while also showing sportsmanship and extending a hand of friendship toward the three-time Super Bowl champion. However, it seems that WWE has a soft spot for American football, as evident by their fairly recent collaboration.
WWE had another sweet gesture stored for a collegiate football league
Big 12’s Championship in 2023 concluded in the first week of December. WWE had planned a collaboration with the collegiate football tournament. As a result, there were advertisements that some well-recognized stars from the Stamford-based company will appear at the championship match and will be one of the key highlights of the event.

As the championship went down between Oklahoma State Cowboys and Texas Longhorns, WWE stars were right there in the stadium. Big names such as The Undertaker were also present at the venue, adorning a custom-made championship belt.
The title belt was supposed to be given to the ‘star’ of the match; the player who was the highlight of the game from both the teams. Seeing the top wrestling stars appear at a collegiate-level football championship as part of a collaboration was heartwarming for many fans to witness.
