Cody Rhodes might lose to Damian Priest at Crown Jewel
On the episode of Monday Night RAW of October 23rd, Cody Rhodes challenged Damian Priest for a match at Crown Jewel. Though Priest had lost their previous encounter on June 26th, he accepted the challenge from an injured Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes after losing at WrestleMania
Despite Rhodes being one of the top performers in the company, he might not come out of Saudi Arabia with a win. One reason is Damian Priest needs this win more than Rhodes. Rhodes is already over with the fans, while Priest is still in the upper mid-card despite being the MITB winner.
Priest has been a constant performer for WWE and has put in memorable performances even with non-wrestling talents like Bad Bunny. His run with The Judgment Day has also been appreciated as the faction is arguably the best team on the main roster.
Another reason why Damian Priest may win is because of Judgment Day. Mami and her henchmen will interfere and cost Cody Rhodes the match. A win due to interference will benefit Priest while also protecting Rhodes. We have seen over the last few months how Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and JD McDonagh sacrifice themselves to save each other. But will McDonagh do it again for Priest?
JD McDonagh has an issue with Damian Priest
Priest is going through some troubles of his own with JD McDonagh. After McDonagh lost his match against Seth Rollins on the episode of Monday Night RAW on October 30th, he took to social media to show his dissent.

McDonagh tweeted, “Everyone has their limits. You’re coming close to mine.” It was a reference to Damian Priest’s rude and ignorant behavior towards McDonagh. Though the 33-year-old student of Finn Balor has sacrificed himself multiple times for Judgment Day, he is still not recognized as a member of the stable.
Do you think Damian Priest will defeat Cody Rhodes?
