WATCH: Shotzi Skips Vacation to Wrestle Moments After Her Marriage in Her Wedding Dress

Embracing a remarkable journey in NXT, Shotzi captivated fans with her character and in-ring prowess. WWE shared heartwarming footage of Shotzi post-wedding, showcasing the joyous moments from her significant life event. 

Despite getting engaged in July, the SmackDown Superstar, Shotzi, chose to forgo a traditional vacation. She chose instead to delight fans by wrestling in her wedding dress just moments after her marriage. 

A surprise in Vegas and a rush to the ring

Amidst fan curiosity about her marital status, Shotzi delightedly shared on social media that she impulsively tied the knot in Las Vegas just before a WWE live event on December 29th. This unexpected announcement was met with excitement and surprise from her fans. WWE took to their official Twitter, sharing a heartwarming video of Shotzi and her husband outside the chapel in Vegas.

Realizing she had to hurry to the event, the video seamlessly transitioned to Shotzi making her entrance and stepping into the ring in her wedding dress.  The caption says, “Congrats @ShotziWWE! She got married AND still made it in time for the show.” It was a moment fans won’t soon forget.

As for Shotzi’s future plans in WWE, they remain a mystery, and fans will have to patiently await the company’s announcements in the coming weeks. For now, she continues to be a prominent presence on Friday Night SmackDown, leaving fans optimistic for a promising 2024 ahead.

Love in Vegas: WWE’s Shotzi shares news of tying the knot in a sweet post

In a heartwarming turn of events, WWE Superstar Shotzi recently celebrated a joyous milestone by tying the knot with her partner. The exciting journey began in July 2023 when Shotzi first shared news of her engagement with her partner. Although the initial announcement mysteriously disappeared shortly afterwards, fans were left intrigued.

Taking to her Instagram, Shotzi delightedly disclosed that she and her partner, Jesus Alfaro, had officially become a married couple in the city of Las Vegas. 

She wrote,  “JUST MARRIED! When I realized I would be performing in Vegas, we decided to elope before the show. It was very spontaneous and so perfectly us. I loved every second of it. I’ll post something a little mushier later but it’s now time for an action-packed reception! @wwe @mgmgrand.” She shared that upon discovering her participation in the WWE live event in Las Vegas, the decision to elope with Alfaro ahead of the show was made.
