Some speculations have gone as far as considering Roman Reigns to be CM Punk’s first feud in WWE. Although it isn’t a far-fetched idea, seeing Punk wrestle for the Undisputed Championship soon after his return is a bit absurd. So, what could Reigns be showing up for?
Can we see another ‘Tribal Combat’?
The last time we saw ‘Tribal Combat’ go down in WWE was at SummerSlam. While Jey Uso could’ve snatched away the title from his elder cousin, Reigns won by luck, as Uso was betrayed by his injured twin. However, as we can see, The Tribal Chief’s dominance remains. This indicates that another Tribal Combat could be waiting for us.

Before WrestleMania 39, there were several rumors surrounding Dwayne Johnson‘s possible return at the SoFi Stadium. Even though Reigns ended up getting involved in another storyline, the feud between “The Rock” and his Samoan cousin was ‘locked’ by the promotion.
So, Reigns’ repeated appearance in SmackDown might be foreshadowing the revival of this family feud and fans may get to see a rebooted ‘Tribal Combat’.
