Sasha Banks’ Former Partner Confirms TNA Appearance Amidst WWE Royal Rumble Return Rumors

The recent talk of the town revolves around where Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks will be heading following her contract expiration at NJPW. This conversation started after rumors started doing rounds about her possible return to ether WWE or AEW.  While her next move is still in the shadows, her former tag team partner and friend confirms her appearance on WWE’s rival promotion TNA Show despite WWE return rumors.

Sasha Banks’ friend confirms TNA appearance

Sasha Banks’ former partner and friend, Trinity Fatu announced that she will be appearing on TNA’s upcoming show in Orlando, Florida. Trinity is known by WWE fans by her ring name, Naomi. She will be facing Gisele Shaw this Friday. Back in 2022, Naomi and Banks decided to leave WWE in May due to creative differences.

At the latest TNA Hard to Kill Pay-Per-View, Fatu was seen defending her TNA Knockout Championship title. While she was unsuccessful in doing so, she received praise for her performance.  She thanked the fans for their support and many interpreted this as her farewell to them. Apart from that, her old friends from WWE, Sasha Banks, and Bayley were present in the arena to cheer her.

While she has announced her next match at TNA, many sources have talked about Fatu’s possible return to WWE.

According to industry sources, WWE has been showing strong interest in getting Naomi back to WWE. However, due to some unforeseen circumstances, the promotion and the star are not able to strike a deal. The ‘unforeseen circumstances’ in question might be the creative differences that made her leave the promotion in the first place. However, the question is whether the current Bloodline story will be affected by her return

As WWE fans are familiar, Fatu is the wife of Bloodline member Jimmy Uso. The stable has been seeing some cracks lately. It all started when Roman Reigns announced Solo Sikoa to be his next successor. While Jimmy Uso was not quite happy with it, the star did not have any option but to comply with the Tribal Chief’s orders. Naomi’s return might start a new chapter in the ongoing Bloodline saga. She might be the one to talk sense to Uso and possibly start another civil war in the Bloodline. However, that needs to be seen.
