

Vince McMahon is a highly respected figure in the professional wrestling world. He transformed WWE from a local promotion to a global powerhouse. Despite this success, he faced controversies related to sexual misconduct and hush money payments. This led to his retirement announcement last year.
However, McMahon later returned to the company and regained his position as chairman. His return scared the fans as they started fearing McMahon’s dominance in the creative of the company, and Triple H’s efforts going into vain.

As reports started of McMahon handling business during Night 2 of WrestleMania 39, and RAW after ‘Mania, fans were sure of having their fears come true. Recently, another news reported that WWE was purchased by Endeavor, in a merger deal with UFC.
This deal saw McMahon lose his majority voting rights, and have only 18% share of the company. This also meant that, for the first time, McMahon would have a boss over his head. Speaking on a podcast, The Nature Boy Ric Flair took a jibe at McMahon for having to report to someone.

Till this point, Vince McMahon was always the boss, but the purchase by Endeavor saw him losing his authority. Though he remains the Executive Chairman of the company, he no longer has voting rights.
What did Ric Flair claim about Vince McMahon having a boss over his head?
When the hosts of the podcast asked Flair about his opinion of McMahon having a boss, he would take a cheeky dig on it. Flair would joke around the topic, and claim, “That’s amazing to be seen. I got to hear off that meeting. He preached, I imagine he preach up the boss around. He maybe, he may have to negotiate but he’ll exactly get bossed wrong. No chance.”

Flair and McMahon share a good relation, and Flair’s jibe seem to come from a friendly point of view. He further claimed that McMahon has been in the business for way too long, and is smart enough to not get bossed around. The Nature Boy would conclude by claiming that he hopes to see Endeavor not take over wrestling. He said, ” I don’t wanna see the Endeavor people takeover, wrestling. It’s a different animal. “
The merger deal valued to be worth $21billion saw, Endeavor, the owner of UFC purchasing WWE, and merge UFC and WWE into one company. The deal is set to be completed by the end of this year, and if done properly, this could be a major revolution in the world of sports entertainment and combat sports.
