Dwayne Johnson’s ex-wife, Dany Garcia, talks about the long-term profit of XFL
Garcia sat down for an interview with Jabari Young from Forbes to discuss the XFL’s return on investment. This was around the same time Forbes released the news of Johnson’s XFL league suffering a 60 million dollars loss. Talking to the host, Garcia detailed that going into the investment, she had already predicted about its losses.

She said, “So there’s the actual return on investment, right? And we know with any startup league you got that J-curve. This is three to five years, right? That’s the technical books [and] that we all understand.” She stated it will take some time for the XFL league to start showing up ROIs as any other business project does.
In order to become a financially successful league, XFL will have to go through some losses, she claimed. Considering the fact that two of the most successful businesspersons run the league, the chances of XFL succeeding long-term appear bright.
