Cyberpunk 2077 is finally about to release in just over a week. The developers have delayed the long-awaited game thrice already. However, developer CD Projekt RED has given a solid confirmation that the game is on track to release.

Assured by their word, fans have started preparing for the final stretch. Subsequently, fans have flooded the internet with fan art, cosplays, graphics, and animations.

One of these is a surprising crossover trailer of Cyberpunk 2077 with a popular MMO game.

Creator makes a trailer for a Cyberpunk 2077 and World of Warcraft trailer

Twitter user Durenmovies created a machinima trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. This kind of trailer is created through the manipulation of video game graphics, meaning Duren has used elements from both CP 2077 and WoW to create a mash up trailer.

The trailer uses various WoW characters to portray the role of those featured in an initial CP 2077 trailer. It not only includes the animations but also has a complete voiceover. The creator has matched elements from lighting to shot selection, keeping them very similar to the original trailer.

The machinima trailer was so impressive that even the developers at CDPR noticed it. The official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account also shared the trailer in a recent tweet.

CDPR promoting indie creators like this shows how dedicated they are towards their community. Recently, a post surfaced on the official CP 2077 subreddit about how a player will not be able to play the game due to his passing away. However, the community turned this into a very wholesome moment for the fan and his family.

They urged CDPR to immortalize the fan as an NPC in the game. Moreover, many fans also said that they will choose a life path of a street kid as a tribute to the fan. Another user made a fan art depicting this person as an in-game character.

For those who missed it, Cyberpunk 2077 will release on December 10. The game will launch on all platforms, including old-gen and new-gen consoles, PC, and Google Stadia.
