West Indian batsman Chris Gayle will be playing his final ICC Cricket World Cup. However, the good news for his fans, is that this will not be the last we see of the swash-buckling batsman.

Back in February, the 39-year-old stated that he would hang up his boots after the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. However, he did a volte farce ahead of West Indies’ clash with India.

Speaking to the media, Chris Gayle said, “It’s still not the end. I still have a few games to go. May be another series to go, as well. Who knows, we will see what happens. My plans after World Cup? I may play a Test match against India and then I will definitely play the ODIs against India. I won’t play the T20s. That’s my plan after the World Cup,”.
