Colby Covington Calls Out Dwayne Johnson And Trashes Seth Rollins

Ever since Colby Covington beat Robbie Lawler there has been a lot of buzz around the former interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington. Colby Covington is notorious for both his in-ring and out ring actions. He breaks his opponents down inside the ring with his insane pace and he breaks the internet with his nasty and savage comments or shall I say truth bombs.

Colby Covington has been aiming to be a WWE pro wrestler for a meaningful period now. He has shown interest in pro wrestling in the past too. Colby’s gimmick in UFC is influenced by pro wrestling and even the Hall Of Famer, Kurt Angle has praised Colby saying that he gets the fight business and adds the entertainment value to it.

And now Colby just took a few jabs at two of the most popular superstars in WWE. The victims of Colby’s harsh words this time are Seth Rollins and Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson.

Talking about Seth Rollins, In a recent interview with Helen Yee, Colby said:

“I think Seth Rollins is a baby. He is always crying. He is always clout chasing, looking to team up with Becky Lynch. He is soft. They need me to go over there and handle him. He is not ready for the raw American steel and twisted sex appeal.”

Reportedly, Seth Rollins is now the WWE universal champion and he is dating the WWE women’s champion, Becky Lynch.

Apart from that, the self-proclaimed people’s cham, Colby also called out the original people’s champ, Dwyane Johnson o find out who the real champ is.. Colby also asked The Rock to step into the ring with him.

“See the true people’s champion is. You want to find out who the people’s champ is. this is the people’s belt. come and get it.

WWE President, Vince would love to have someone like Colby in his roaster. And Colby is more than happy to leave UFC and wrestle in WWE since that will give him the big paychecks. talking about his potential future in pro wrestling, Colby said:

“Absolutely I would go to WWE tomorrow if Vince asks me to. We are not here to make friends we are here to make money. That’s exactly what WWE presents. If they want me to put UFC title in trash over in the WWE trash can, so be it. Hit me up Vince and call my manager.”

Colby Covington is currently supposed to face the welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman for the title later this year.
