The U-17 Indian football team played against the Colombian team in the second match of the group stage. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite the result that Indian fans had hoped for. However, they put up a good fight. The opening half of the match was relatively feisty but goal-less, but after half-time, all hell broke loose. Colombia broke the deadlock in the 48th minute. In the 82nd minute, India pulled one back courtesy Jeakson Singh. But in the 83rd minute Colombia scored again to take the win. Fans flocked to social media to express their emotions after the valiant effort from the Colts.
