World No. 2 Naomi Osaka is one of the most prominent names in the women’s game. There has not been a single player in recent years to enjoy success as much as the Japanese starlet has achieved. She has enjoyed tremendous success off the tennis courts as well.

Recently, Naomi Osaka spoke on wanting to take a break from the Tour. In recent months, she has played a number of tournaments, and because of the pandemic and COVID-19 protocols, has had to live under restrictions. After being in Australia for more than a month, she went to Miami to play and faced circumstances similar to what she faced in Australia.

Naomi stated, “Yeah, I felt like I needed it because after Australia I had, like, one day of rest, then I immediately started working. It wasn’t tennis, but other stuff. For me, I just felt like the hardcourt swing, the Australian hard-court swing, plus Miami, was kind of compressed for me.”
