There’s not one cricket fan who doesn’t know the name of MS Dhoni. However, the question that still lingers is whether the legendary batsman-wicketkeeper has decided to retire without noise or whether he will still make a comeback.

There is still no confirmation about what MS Dhoni plans for his future

The primary issue is that the last time MS Dhoni played for the Indian team was back in 2019. This was during the semi finals of the World Cup. Since then he has not played one single competitive event as a part of the team. Speculations were that his inclusion in the T20 World Cup squad will depend on his performance at Indian Premier League 2020. Unfortunately, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, it seems as though IPL 2020 will not take place this year.

There is a slight possibility the former skipper might play T20 World Cup

On the other hand, it is possible that MS Dhoni might play the T20 World Cup if someone like Sourav Ganguly, Ravi Shashtri, or Virat Kohli asks him to.
