Harbhajan Singh opens up about his opinion on the 13th season of IPL

Now, Harbhajan Singh comes forward with his opinion about how the IPL 2020 should proceed. Obviously, he believes that the health of everyone involved within this huge event comes first. However, if the only way to move forward is without an audience, then that must be done.

Furthermore, he adds that as a player it will be difficult to play IPL 2020 in India without the fans cheering. However, knowing that the fans are watching it on their television is better than cancelling the event altogether. Harbhajan Singh is a part of Chennai Super Kings and would have returned to the field after 12 months.

“I miss matches the most, was hoping that I would get to play 17 matches (including finals) after a year’s gap.”

BCCI can only make an announcement when the lockdown is over

As of now, there is no confirmation on whether IPL 2020 will happen or not. If all goes well, then the BCCI is trying to tap the October-November window for the event. Unfortunately, a lot of this depends on the ICC as well. The T20 World Cup is supposed to start from 18th October. Now, IPL 2020 is only possible if the T20 World Cup gets postponed.
