The deadly coronavirus has gripped all the countries across the globe. The whole world has been shut down. As a result, all the events, tournaments or engagements have either been canceled or suspended.
In the wake of coronavirus, BCCI postponed the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2020). Though earlier the board planned to conduct the event after April 15. But with a rise in the number of coronavirus cases in India, this seems impossible.
The virus has affected more than 3,80,000 people so far with 16,500 losing their lives globally. The coronavirus cases have reached 500 in India with 10 deaths. The cases are increasing rapidly in India and curfew has been imposed in many states. This is done to prevent the further spread of the virus.
