The Coronavirus threat is making the world come to a standstill. Governments are imposing visa bans, medical experts are advising people to stay home, and social hangout venues are shutting down. Amidst all of this, one of the items that are selling out from shelves are hand-sanitisers. Therefore, Australian legend, Shane Warne, is stepping up to ensure there is a supply of hand-sanitisers in the country.
Legend steps-up to help his country
His gin brand, Seven Zero Eight, is going to reduce alcohol production and focus on hand-sanitisers. At this point, almost over 600 lives have been affected by the virus in Australia. To curb this, the Prime Minister of Australia has asked all companies to do their bit.
Hence, the successful Australian Cricket Test-bowler steps forward to ensure that supplies don’t run out. He took to Instagram to share a post which says that during these tough times, he wishes everyone good health. Additionally, Shane Warne says that he is glad Seven Zero Eight is making this transition, and hopes other companies will do the same.
“This is a challenging time for Australians and we all need to do what we can to help our healthcare system combat this disease and save lives. I am happy SevenZeroEight has the ability to make this shift and encourage others to do the same.”

This is actually not the first time that Shane Warne is helping his country. Australia had suffered severely during the bush fires. Even during that time, Warne stepped up. He put his baggy green cap up for auction. The entire money which he received from the auction was donated to the relief fund. The buyer who won the auction paid $1,007,500 for the cap.
Fact: Shane Warne’s gin brand Seven Zero Eight signifies the 708 Test wickets in his achievement record.
