At present, the country is going through a tough phase due to the outbreak of coronavirus in India. The government has urged citizens to maintain social distance with each other. Also, it is advised to practice self-isolation. As a result, many companies have told their employees to work from home.

Sunil Chhetri’s chat with RCB

On March 20, 2020 (Friday), Sunil Chhetri connected with his fans and well-wishers on twitter. He indulged in a question-answer session with his followers.

Chhetri wrote on his twitter account, “Alright then guys, take a little break from your WFH routines and let’s make the most of this social distancing with a Q&A session. Keep the questions fun and I’ll try answering as many as I can. Fire away!”

It was a fun activity where several of his fans asked him questions related to his personal and professional life.

In between the session, one of his followers asked him if would like to be a part of an IPL team.

If you get a chance to play cricket in which IPL franchise would you like to play??? #AskChetri @chetrisunil11”, a twitter user questioned.

On this, the Indian captain gave an indirect reply stating that he is a Bangalore boy.

I’m a Bangalore boy. That should answer your question.”, answered Chhetri.

RCB was quick to take note of this tweet and welcomed the Football captain in their team. They also posted an amination of the new RCB jersey for Sunil Chhetri.
